The Wisdom of The Grinch: Meaningful holiday gift ideas

MAYBE CHRISTMAS, HE THOUGHT, DOESN’T COME FROM A STORE. MAYBE CHRISTMAS, PERHAPS, MEANS A LITTLE BIT MORE.
- THE GRINCH

The holiday season is almost here.

My favorite things to give for the holidays typically don't come from your average store. The gifts I like best…

  1. come from the heart, and

  2. give me an opportunity to build relationships and touch the hearts of the people I love.

Here are some of my favorites...

  1. Nixplay Digital Photo frame - They are wifi enabled, so you can send a photo from a phone app to anywhere that frame is sitting. Perfect for parents and grandparents, especially the ones that don’t live super close, as well as mom or dad’s office.

  2. Archival quality photo boxes - It’s amazing how wonderful it feels to empty those inherited boxes from grandma and place the photos into boxes that will keep them safe. It’s the first step to getting them organized. I like Archival Methods. I also love the Photo Box Collection.

  3. Scanning - the best way to preserve your favorite and most cherished printed photos is to digitize them...THEN share them!

  4. pCloud - is a personal cloud space. I love this service for sharing family heritage photos and videos. They offer reasonable one-time cost Lifetime plans (e.g. no monthly subscriptions) and can handle videos.

  5. Backblaze - is my favorite backup service. It’s designed for people that want a no-fuss way to keep their photos and other computer files safe at a reasonable cost. Imagine gifting a whole year of peace of mind.

  6. Organized Photos - Who in your life regularly complains about their photos being a mess? Why not gift one of our online courses? The Photo Organizing Blueprint is a self-paced online course that provides a step-by-step guide to organizing both your digital and printed photos. Or gift yourself with one of our full-service organizing packages and experience the joy and peace of mind of knowing your photos are safe and ready to share.

  7. Slideshows - a beautiful way to share and enjoy family memories, whether it is a compilation of amazing heritage photos, an annual family memory recap or a vacation. Watching these memories together is family glue! You can make one yourself or have us do it for you.

  8. Digital Photo Album - For the DIYer, I love the quality of the digital photo books from mPix and Mixbook. For the person who wants a special keepsake album of family memories, we love Family Yearbooks and albums that tell your family’s story through generations. Sharing a story in photos is a gift that will keep on giving. We love helping you tell your stories. (Note: holiday deadlines have passed for completing albums, but gift certificates are available.)

  9. Projector Streaming Service - it’s Netflix for your home movies! If you’re looking for a fun, easy way to enjoy and watch your home movies on your tv screen, this is it!

Wishing you 'more' this holiday season!
